Hello, hello.
Let me start off by saying today is awesome because I got a letter from my boyfriend in boot camp and he FINALLY got 2 of the letters I sent on the 2nd of this month. So, HARRAY! I was starting to worry that I had messed up the address or something.
Also, today I feel slightly aggravated, because my mom keeps complaining that she's bored, and I ask her what she want's to do and she's all "Well, I don't know!" *sigh* Oh well. I hoped to go to my friends house to spend the night but apparently I'm not allowed to spend the night with anyone anymore for some reason, I think because I'm too skinny? Or something like that.
Yeah for those of you who don't know, which I think is all of you, I have Cystic Fibrosis and it's pretty difficult for me to gain and maintain my weight. And apparently at my doctor's appointment on Wednesday I had lost 3 pounds since my last visit and my mom banned me from doing anything fun and basically gave me a month to gain 8 pounds. So, yeah. It sucks. A lot.
*eats bowl of Tostitos and salsa that's way too sweet for her liking*
Anyway, school has been alright so far. My teachers are really cool, they all like my fedora, and only two classes ever really give homework, and it's always really easy stuff. Like, done with both assignments in 20 minutes stuff. I have to glue stuff to a plate for English. I actually really like school, since things have been so crazy in my life lately with Darius being gone. School for me is the only thing I have to keep myself preoccupied and busy. Monday and Tuesday we're having auditions for Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. I'm really excited for it, I've read the book and we're reading the play in class, and so far it's really cool. For those of you who don't know the plot:
It takes place in the future, and babies aren't born, they're decanted. Made in factories, in test tubes. They go by a caste system, And people are conditioned from the embryonic stage to like what they are destined to like, depending on the caste they are going to end up as. The caste system goes Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon. The Alphas and Betas are at the top of the chain, and are basically the blonde-hair blue-eyed leaders, and are decanted from one single egg. Gammas, Deltas and Epsilons are all "bokanovskified", or divided into several embryos from one egg, and the general rule goes the more it's divided, the stupider, the darker hair, the shorter they are. Epsilons are the lowest, and do the most menial tasks. Everyone takes soma, which is basically happy pills, and "everyone belongs to everyone else," promiscuity is the norm.
Then, there are "Savage Reservations," where it's basically like and Indian reservation, uncivilized, etc. They get married and have babies normally and what not. Two characters from the civilized world go on holiday to the reservation, and meet a boy named John who looks like them, blonde and blue-eyed, not dark skinned and stuff like the "savages." Turns out that he's the son of a Beta who got stranded there 25 years previous. They go back to the civilized world together and they basically all study the savage, because he's so strange. It's kind of complicated, but I do HIGHLY reccommend the book if you want to read it.
I'm hoping to get cast as a Alpha or Beta. If I do, though, I'll have to buy a blonde wig for the part. I don't mind, though. I do enjoy cosplaying, and if ever I want to cosplay as a blonde character, I'm set. Haha.
Buuuuuut, yeah. That's all I really have going on with me so far. I'm working on getting my license, and once I achieve that I'm going to apply everywhere withing a 15-minute driving distance for a job. Yeah.
And now, challenges.
I was a TOTAL Disney addict as a kid. I have just about every classic somewhere about the house. Winnie the Pooh, The Little Mermaid, Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, you name it. And being a Floridian, you can bet I've been to Disney World my fair share of times. As well as Epcot and those other ones.
Getting to the chase, my top 3 Disney movies (because I'm the kind of girl who can't have one favorite) are Beauty and the Beast, Bambi, and Snow White. Yeah.
But no, Hannah Montana and all that other new stuff is not really on my list of things I enjoy.
Favorite child memory? (LOL, I'm listening to Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns 'N' Roses and I typed "childhood memory" just as he sung it. Found that funny.)
Hmmm.... This is a tough one. I'm going to have to say this one time, I was about 6, and we were driving home from Pittsburg after the Christmas holiday. Traffic was AWFUL, and we were stopped completely for like 3 hours. So we got out of the car and made snow angels and snow men until we started moving again. As we drove down the road, we saw that several hundred other people had the same idea and there were like rows of snow men all along the shoulder of the road. And I had gotten Furbies for Chritmas, and we had them in the car with us. Each time we hit a bump in the road, both Furbies would go "WOOOOAAAAHHH!!!" It was hilarious.
Well, that's all for now. Later gators!!

Ego Sum Non Mortuus! + School
[After note: I didn't realise how long it looked. I won't be offended if you want to skip the school crap. Just like. Go ahead and scan through it or something]
(Translates into "I am not dead!" I would have written "I am alive!" but I'm not that good at Latin.)
So I went back to school this week. It probably won't be an interesting blog. But there you go. Even though I have time, I think I'm going to keep it short with almost no pictures.
That's a picture of the first page of the Times schools league board. The square is my [new] school. Seventh. SEVENTH. Stalk me at your own will, but I'm really not that interesting. (The truth is, is that I just really couldn't be bothered to write a lot about it. The image pretty much sums my gobsmacking news up).
Bad things
I'm not use to being in a smart school or being around smart people, with all due respect for my old school. So my old school isn't that bad, but LEH is like. Uber smart >> Like they read Jane Eyre. At my age. And study it. Like. Study it. In my old school, we read like. Celia Rees books (Witchchild, don't read it, it's so bad it will scar you). I have nothing against classics, I swear. I read Pride and Prejudice and What Katy Did. But it doesn't make the fact I have to study them any less scary.
Another bad thing is that I really REALLY fail at opening my locker. There are like three places to put stuff: a locker
for like gym bags and lacrosse sticks; a pigeon hole for folders, though I don't even have any; and last is the inside of your desk in your form room. I don't know why, but they have like old fashioned desks with little inkpot holes and lids. But I really fail at opening my locker. I'm like the last one there.
The school is big. 33 [curseword] acres. And I was given the wrong map, so I keep getting lost. It's nice that they have like. MASSES of grass, but I get so. Freaking. Lost. I was going to post a picture of it from GoogleMaps (it looks like a patch of green), but I really hate posting pictures. It kills new lines.
They're ahead of me in French, and I HAVE to do French. They're one whole book ahead. I feel sorry for the other new girl from the States who doesn't know French, German or Latin :( Poor her.
And the girl I sit next to likes to mess around with after shave after lunch. Why? I don't know. So half of me smells like after shave. Nice.
And yeah. I guess the last sucky thing is that I miss my old friends. But it's sort of nice getting to text them in the middle of Latin.
Oh. And I have to learn new names. I hate learning names.
Good Things
I like smart people. While being around them is different, it's still sort of nice not being around people who ask for the page number when it's on the freaking board.
Lacrosse is the funniest sport ever. Like really. Besides the fact I have to open my locker for it, it actually has me in hysterics. Thank God the P.E. teacher is nice.
My History teacher's called Mr. M. Christmas. It's terrible, I know, but I can't actually answer the register properly, because I'm scared I'll go into a laughing fit half way through. I just mumble 'Yes.' He's actually really evil.
The teachers are actually generally pretty nice and good at teaching. I found Physics interesting yesterday for the first time in my life. I never found it boring, but it was never that great either.
Everyone's really nice in my class, which is, yeah, a bonus. I think it's sort of customary to like the new kid anyway. But I just kind of hang around this group of people who are sort of The Mighty Boosh/Camden/Music/Manga obsessed. They're so weird. But I like weird people.
Ur. Oh, the last good thing is that I really like the school. It's weird.
Challenges
I like old Disney stuff like Mary Poppins, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast. I'm really not a big fan of the new Disney (Kim Possible? Hannah Montana? And is like Camp Rock coming out or something? Oh, and musn't let me forget High School Musical). They're not really that popular over here. Like faux-life acting that burst into song/dance right in the middle of a scene. I'm going to leave it there ._. Oh, but I have a Christmas Edition 3CD Disney soundtrack or something. But it's full of the classics and stuff.
Shall I set a challenge this week? Yeah, I don't set one that often. So, if you have time, what is [one of] your favourite childhood memory?
Peace out, dudettes.
P.S. I ordered Twilight the other day. Thought you might want to know.

I'll be your doctor
So yeah. I am sick. Uck. The ickiness is slowly but surely spreading around school. :[
but I am getting better. If Tuesday was my day, you would not be reading my blog.
So Yeah. I didn't make Sweeny Todd, although I think I talked about this last week... however, I did make Original One Acts which are ten minute plays written by the students. I get to play a crazy writer for a soap. It's going to be grand I'm sure.
Have any of you read the book Deadline? I forget who wrote it, but have you? Because I found it rather thought provoking. A brief summary without any spoilers; Ben Wolfe is diagnosed with some rare blood disease the summer before his senior year. They tell him that even with treatment he's just buying a little more time, so he decides not to take it. He doesn't want to die all bald and sickly. So they tell him he'll be lucky to make it through the rest of the year. But yeah, the book made me think. If I had one year left to live, what would I do with it? I'm not sure. I suppose I would spend it doing things I love. Not afraid to take risks because you've got nothing to loose. All in all it was a very good book.
Challenges.
Do I have any? I'm not sure. And I'm way sorry, but the ickness has destroyed my mind, so this is it for now. But because my post is as bad as I'm feeling, I shall post a video for your enjoyment. It's a nerdfighter must see.

"I Don't Know, Google It"
I really need to stop doing these so late. I'm sorry about that. Tuesday just creeps up on me and I keep forgetting. Today I feel cranky. I'm not sure why. The classes I had today are terrible [World Religions, Precalc, Physics, and U.S. History]. And I got a splitting headache right after school which confined me to my well ventilated, dark, silent room for an hour and a half because I literally couldn't be in the light or noise. But ohh well. Last time I was excited about meeting that nevershoutnever! guy. Well, I met him. :D

yayay!
Disney: I love Disney! One of my favorite movies of all time is The Goofey Movie actually. I even have the soundtrack on my ipod. =D
Yay for Twilight! I seriously cannot wait for the movie. Woooo!
I'm sorry that this blog is short, but I've got hellaz shows to catch up on. So my question to you is, what are you most addictive shows that you love?

Disneymania
Sorry this is up so late and sorry if it's going to be short but I was out all day still doing furniture shopping in Ikea (the nearest one is in NJ so it took a while to get there). In my last blog I mentioned that I got an interveiw with a good school here and well I got accepted =] and I start tommorrow. But school starts at 11 for sophmores and ends around 1-ish so it's just oreantation and signing up for activities and pictures etc...I'm really nervous :S but I hope that it goes well!
I'm not sure if this is very nerdfightery but there are no rules against it =]
I'm in love with Disney
Demi Lovata, Jonas Brothers, Jordan Pruit, Phineas and Ferb and all of that. But what I love the most is Wizards of Waverly place. And I just found out that the cast of WOWP is going to be in NYC at the Disney Store doing a meet and greet!!!! It's next saturday and that means I get to meet Selena Gomez who's my idol! =] I'm super excited.
So my question is (are we still doing those?) do you guys like Disney? Even if it's the classics like AristoCats and the Lion King or more of the most recent ones like Hannah Montana?
I hope you feel better tyler!

EDIT: Today I feel very very very nervous

uhmm punish meh?
So...I just got home from work....
Today was awesome because I worked with Kelly and Diondre [is that not the coolest name ever?]. Today was awesome until about 11pm when it became utterly notsome and went on a downhill slope to rock bottom around 1:30am.
Today I feel icky.

I seriously have no desire at all to write this now...since it is already like sooooooooooo late.
Punish away my friends.
PS. . .

I love him lots.
