Definitely Almost Forgot Today Was Saturday o.O

But I did at least remember. Whew. Anyway, I've been relatively busy kinda sorta.
I went on field trip for Drama to Orlando on Tuesday. We went to the Orlando Shakespeare Center to see Kiss Me Kate, the musical version of Taming of the Shrew. It was really cool, a play within a play. Although I was slightly disappointed by Brush Up Your Shakespeare, which was supposed to be really funny and over the top, being that two gangsters singing like that is supposed to be amusing, but it was pretty lackluster. Other than that it was really fun. And then we all had lunch at McDonalds, which was madness due to the fact that 55 people had to be served. Though it was amusing watching the employees running around. I highly doubt they've ever been that busy before.
I also pretty much scored this week on the entertainment front. I went to Hot Topic in the mall a while back and I got the limited edition soundtrack to The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was on clearance, so I only had to pay $14 for it rather than $20, which is always cool. I am in love with this CD-- I mean, CDs, since it's a 2-disk thing-- Disk 1 is the original movie soundtrack, and disk 2 is covers and demos; This is Halloween covers, one by Marilyn Manson and one by Panic! At The Disco, What's This? by Fall Out Boy, Sally's Song by Fiona Apple (which I play constantly. It's seriously beautiful.) Kidnap the Sandy Claws by She Wants Revenge, and then demos of Kidnap the Sandy Claws, Making Christmas, and some others that escape me.
Yesterday I went to the mall again since we were in the area anyway because of a 3 minute medical appointment I had nearby, and I got Corpse Bride (can you tell I'm addicted to Tim Burton/Danny Elfman?) and Baby Mama at the FYE. I only spent $25 on them together because Baby Mama was on sale and I bought Corpse Bride used for $5. Yay! I also got a new wallet. Jack Skellingon is on it (addicted?) and it's really nice.
Thursday I went to Orlando to the UCF Arena to see a Foghat/Blue Oyster Cult concert. I took a bunch of really nice (I hope) pics of Foghat on my film camera, and some on my digital, which died before I could get any of BOC. My dad is Foghat's guitarist so I got to go up to the barrier to get close enough for some good ones, provided I flashed my pass to the security guard who looked at me funny when I ran up there. I didn't upload my pics yet from my digital and I haven't gotten my film developed yet either, but when I do I'm going to put in the extra $2 to get them on a disk as well so I can have them on my computer. I'll post some next week.
That's basically all for my week.

I didn't watch the debate, no. I was definitely way to tired to stay up. I did ask my mom about it, though, and she said the same thing. Politics isn't her strong point, nor is it mine.
Ummmmmmmmm. Yeah. That's all I got.
Oh.
Today is awesome because I got to sleep in until 11:30 uninterrupted.
And today I feel good, but at the same time I don't feel like myself. Huh.

The End.

Five chocolate bars. Geez.

Yeah. I got five chocolate bars in Maths today because I'm such a Maths Nerd ;D

Urm. I don't have a lot to say really. I don't do very much on a Friday! Oh, on Saturday I went to TGI Fridays for my friend's birthday. Did you know they make you stand up on a chair so they can shout/sing you Happy Birthday? You also get free cake. Mmhm, yes. It's definitely one of the things you should do before you die.

On Sunday my friend and I finished and gave a scrapbook to another friend. It was really awesome but it kind of sucks that her guinea pig also died that day. But at least she liked the scrapbook, I guess (we'd been working on it for months). I don't think I did anything on Monday. But next Monday/coming Monday, I have a French oral. Urgh, I hate French :( I kind of want to do well in it, because that's my inner nerd.

On Tuesday I almost dropped a testtube rack full of testtubes. Go me.

On Wednesday I took this photo:
because I hate my Art teacher so decided to do it myself. Apparently my Art teacher sucks at Art. Yes, if there's one thing I hate about my new school (they're a couple of things but shush) it's the Art department. It doesn't matter that they always have white paint and every shade of tissue paper. The teachers are just kind of crap. The photo is meant to be based on one by Steve Double, who, if you're interested [vaguely] in the music scene, photographs a lot of music celebritites, such as Nirvana and Linkin Park.
I don't actually like the photo very much. It's just art homework. My hand looks like a newt's.
AND. I ALSO SAW MY OLD FRIENDS :D. Basically, we get the same bus but they usually get the one before, but they were late so I got to see them! We were really noisy cause I hadn't spoken to them for a week (yes that's a long time), and the old people hated us but we were happy.

Aaaand Thursday I had trampolining. I ache.

And today I had lacrosse, which I majorly fail at. Oh well.

And there's a summary of my week.

Oh, and Bengi, I'm so happy for you! :D (<- See, my awesome levels of happiness radiate through pixels). It's seriously nice seeing old friends randomly. And grats on having a fellow Nerdfighter at your school! And getting 100%. I'm very glad your week went well :)

Tyler - yellow nailpolish ftw.

Palin and Biden Debate: I vaguely follow politics, but don't follow debates. I also haven't read the Times 2 recently, which is where I usually catch up on the US's politics, or financial crisises. Oh fun times. I did actually stick with the whole Obama vs Clinton thing.

Aaaand, Chelsea, I miss reading your blog entries, but I wish you all the best in your work :)

Okay. I also have a tonload of images I want to stick up here, so the next time I don't have much time or much to say, I'm going to just to an image blog.
Interesting, no?

Oh. And I have so many tests next week :( German, Latin, English, French. Sucks.

Have a good weekend!
AND THIS IS STILL ON TIME :D

Crowded room

by the academy is. Mucho good. I've probably used at least four or five TAI songs as my titles now. I just can't help it. I'm addicted.

Oh! and I get to see them on October 29th. Who's excited? -raises hand- Fer real.

I've also become really addicted to Tokio Hotel. Like. Really addicted. -_-; You should be amazed that one of their songs isn't the day's title. I am.

Okay, so let's talk about this week! It's hectic! I almost forgot today was my day, but I still owe a lip synch, so I'm trying not to slip up. Lots of homecoming nonsense. I'm going with my buddy Alex Hill. He's a cool guy. I'm sure I'll have fun. I got this really nice black and white dress as well. I'll post pictures next week.

Well, along with the dance, there's the parade. Typically A.R.T. [advanced repatory theatre] always has a float, but this year they definitely assigned the wrong person to be put in charge. He's just not enough of a leader. I ended up painting the trailer by myself after school. Yeah. awesome. :/ But it'll be over soon, or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

What makes a blog you say?
Discussing topics that are of interest to other people or relatable I think. Just my opinion. I guess it could really differ for whoever is the writer.

Well... You know, this isn't much... but I think it's all I got. I'm being yelled at to watch CNN too. You know, the whole bail out bill. "This is history, Alyssa." and it really is important, I know it is. I'm just a little flustered with polotics. I would like to walk away from it all for a week or two.

Oh and because my blog isn't that great... Enjoy:
This guy is probably one of my favorite people on youtube.

I saw my old best friend from second grade! and there's a nerdfighter in my school!

Today is awesome cause I saw my old best friend from second grade!!
Story Time!

Ok so I first moved to NYC when I was 4. When I started kindergarten I went to PS.59. I stayed there till 2nd grade. There I was pretty much friends with everyone, cause back in second grade you never really have enemies (or at least I didn't) But I had some BEST Friends. There was Martha, Elizabeth, Omer (Our moms are really close I kept in touch with her, and Kristen ( we used to talk on the phone for HOURS back when we were 8! I honestly can't remember what we talked about!) But I lost touch with all of them (apart from Omer) When I moved at the end of second grade. So I moved back to NYC this year and now I go to Beacon School (it's a public school but you need to go through an interview as I mentioned before and so far I love it!) and I was always hoping that I'd see someone from PS.59, no such luck. UNTIL TODAY! Ok so I take Collage level french mondays and wednesdays. French starts at 2.30 and wednesdays my last class ends at 2. but Mondays my last class ends at 3.30 so I don't go to that class but I go to the same subject and same teachers other 10th grade class durring my free only on mondays. It's complicated but w/e. So today was my first day in that class and there was this girl on the other side of the room and I was looking at her the whole period. She look SO familiar and I was like wait do I have any other classes with her? But i couldn't think of any and after class she came up to me and was like "Oh my god, is that you Bengi?" And I screamed! It was KIRSTEN! I can't believe my old best friend from second grade was in my class! And she said: " I cried so much when you moved cause I thought I'd never see you again!" and we hugged and talked and it was wonderful =]

Ok thats, that
THERE'S A NERDFIGHTER IN MY SCHOOL!
Ok so I'm really tight with my librarian =] and i mentioned my love of John Green cause my library had just bought his books and stuff. And she introduced me to this junoir (if you don't know I'm a sophmore) named Reneta and she's a nerdfighter! She's Thursday on 7awesomenerdfighters and you guys should totally check 'em out! She is so awesome and I'm SO happy i met a nerdfighter at my school =] We're planing on going to the release party of Paper Towns together! So finally I wont be alone at one of those things!
So basically my week was pretty amazing!
I also got 100% on an essay on a book I didn't read! (It's not like me to get out of reading a book for class, but it was summer reading and I got accepted to the school three days before school started!)

TYLER WHERE DID YOU FIND YELLOW NAILPOLISH! WHERE? I LOOKED EVERYWHERE FOR YELLOW NAIL POLISH~

Also check out the band PushPlay, I think they're pretty amazing!
I also bought Demi Lovato's album the day it came out! IT'S AMAZING! Listen to these songs on youtube:
Don't Forget (if you can watch a live one she's amazing live)
Lala Land
Get Back
On the Line (with the Jonas Brothers)
Gonna get Caught
Until Your Mine.
A lot of my friends who said they'd hate her cause she's "pop" are now eating their words cause she is SO not pop =] If you like her songs you can give me your email and I'll send you the whole CD! (or you can go buy it cause at best buy it's only like 10bucks!)

*see I told you guys my next blog was going to be long =]

Questions
I think there was only one? Well what makes a blog. I think just writing about your day or expressing you're opinion on something qualifies as a blog =]

My question is, did you guys watch the Debate? If so what did you think about it? And if your blog is going to be after the debate with Palin and Biden what are your opinions on that?

GO LISTEN TO THE ALBUM DON'T FORGET!

Oh also I now have 21 subscribers on my youtube channel that I'm going to be vlogging on with one of my best friends since I moved! (www.youtube.com/benjoandaless)

it's still sunday in california

this is going to be quick because, yes, I forgot.

Much apologies. I will do that video-sing-challenge-punishment tomorrow. ;DDD

Basically this week has been pretty grand. Bamfcoming was swell. I saw Ghost Town this weekend and it was really really good. I downloaded about 50 Billie Holiday songs and I can not stop listening to her. Also the new Ben Folds album is amazing I highly suggest it.

Besides that, work is going good, school is average [literally...I'm getting a lot of B's lately...it's kind of a bummer], family is good, friends are fantastic, and life in general is going pretty well.

My friends and I are having anti-homecoming next weekend. Instead of going to homecoming with everyone else we're just going to go out to dinner and to a park and just do random things [possibly play Dungeons and Dragons?!]. I'm excited for that because I've never been real big on school dances.

Also this week is Spirit Week/Junior Senior Wars. That basically means we get to [instead of uniforms] wear different kinds of clothes [the days are like themed....pajama day is tomorrow :D] and the Juniors [ME!] and the Seniors basically trash each others' yards with toilet paper, forks, and whatever else we can manage.

Well much love darlings. Sorry for my late-ness. I shall post the link to my punishment thingy Monday or Tuesday <3

[PS...I just got yellow nail polish, it's named "need sunglasses?" I love it a lot...yay]
