But I did at least remember. Whew. Anyway, I've been relatively busy kinda sorta.
I went on field trip for Drama to Orlando on Tuesday. We went to the Orlando Shakespeare Center to see Kiss Me Kate, the musical version of Taming of the Shrew. It was really cool, a play within a play. Although I was slightly disappointed by Brush Up Your Shakespeare, which was supposed to be really funny and over the top, being that two gangsters singing like that is supposed to be amusing, but it was pretty lackluster. Other than that it was really fun. And then we all had lunch at McDonalds, which was madness due to the fact that 55 people had to be served. Though it was amusing watching the employees running around. I highly doubt they've ever been that busy before.
I also pretty much scored this week on the entertainment front. I went to Hot Topic in the mall a while back and I got the limited edition soundtrack to The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was on clearance, so I only had to pay $14 for it rather than $20, which is always cool. I am in love with this CD-- I mean, CDs, since it's a 2-disk thing-- Disk 1 is the original movie soundtrack, and disk 2 is covers and demos; This is Halloween covers, one by Marilyn Manson and one by Panic! At The Disco, What's This? by Fall Out Boy, Sally's Song by Fiona Apple (which I play constantly. It's seriously beautiful.) Kidnap the Sandy Claws by She Wants Revenge, and then demos of Kidnap the Sandy Claws, Making Christmas, and some others that escape me.
Yesterday I went to the mall again since we were in the area anyway because of a 3 minute medical appointment I had nearby, and I got Corpse Bride (can you tell I'm addicted to Tim Burton/Danny Elfman?) and Baby Mama at the FYE. I only spent $25 on them together because Baby Mama was on sale and I bought Corpse Bride used for $5. Yay! I also got a new wallet. Jack Skellingon is on it (addicted?) and it's really nice.
Thursday I went to Orlando to the UCF Arena to see a Foghat/Blue Oyster Cult concert. I took a bunch of really nice (I hope) pics of Foghat on my film camera, and some on my digital, which died before I could get any of BOC. My dad is Foghat's guitarist so I got to go up to the barrier to get close enough for some good ones, provided I flashed my pass to the security guard who looked at me funny when I ran up there. I didn't upload my pics yet from my digital and I haven't gotten my film developed yet either, but when I do I'm going to put in the extra $2 to get them on a disk as well so I can have them on my computer. I'll post some next week.
That's basically all for my week.
I didn't watch the debate, no. I was definitely way to tired to stay up. I did ask my mom about it, though, and she said the same thing. Politics isn't her strong point, nor is it mine.
Ummmmmmmmm. Yeah. That's all I got.
Oh.
Today is awesome because I got to sleep in until 11:30 uninterrupted.
And today I feel good, but at the same time I don't feel like myself. Huh.
The End.
