I'll start of by saying that today is awesome only because it's a weekend and there's no school. And that today I feel stressed, but a calm kind of stressed. Weird, huh?
My mom had to go to a funeral today, and then has work until 5. So I'm stuck babysitting, which is never good. But as you may have guessed from today's title, I have a bit of free time now since Nickelodeon is off the air for 3 hours. One's on her bike and the other is at the neighbors. Yay.
Autumn is finally upon us. It was weird, though. It went from being blistering hot all day to being moderately cool in the mornings and hot-yet-tolerable in the afternoon in a day flat. But I'm way happy. I love the fall season. It's jeans+jacket+t-shirt weather, and the leaves start turning. And it's breezy. And now I'll get on with the blog.
School's been kind of crazy. I have a ton of lines to memorize. And homework to get done. And I somehow have a D in English? I don't know.
Uhmmm... questions.
If I could live in any fictional story... hm. I'd probably go with Harry Potter. When I was young and first got into it I wanted so badly to be a witch, lol. And I still love it. I'm thinking I'm going to get the latest book coming out by Rowling, that Beedle the Bard thing. Just because. So yeah, I want to live in Harry Potter-land.
And as for what makes a blog a blog, I'd have to say that a blog is like a part of a person, if that makes sense. It's like a personal account of someones life. I always saw blogs as a kind of diary, or really like a journal. Like, by reading one you get to know what a person is all about. Kind od like what we're doing, I suppose. I'm kind of rambling now.
And my sisters are back. *unenthusiastic cheer* I must go. Later loves.

[ a sidenote ]
I know, I fail.
I missed my day again, but I was in rehearsal way late and had tons of work to do...and at about 3 this morning when I was going to get on here my internet stopped working. :(
So I don't want to intrude too much on today's post, but I'm going to post on my personal blog now, so feel free to read that if you want.
You kids are great. :)

I don't have a lot to report this week since it's been pretty mediocre. Infact, I don't really have anything to say.
So hi, I'm alive and I posted on time. Yay!
Actually, my legs kill from doing two hours of lacrosse, but there you go. And happy European Languages day!
Link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ni_EPwTO_RQ&feature=related I don't know if you had/have that advert over there, but I really like it :) It's awesome and creative and smart. That's the making of it.
Question (if you want to): For you, what makes a blog a blog?
Sorry this is so short. Hope you all have a good weekend!

The phrase that pays
Good ol' The academy is. Those boys are quite amazing. So alright! We are half way through the week girls.
Take this moment to take a deep breath and let it go, because there are two more days till the weekend, and occasionally people need that mid-week breather.
So alright, what's happening in the life of a Lysky? I'll tell you!
I have original one acts tonight! I'm one of the first people on the stage. I'm soo nervous. But it's going to be great. I just have to be over the top angry. My director tells me I'm too nice for my own good. She also told me "Listen to angry music all day, I want you to be angry." but I'm listening to TAI... and if you know them... then you know they are not angry. -ahem- Maybe I am too nice for my own good? Is there such a thing. I'm not sure. Opinions?
Also, I just got done doing my second print in photography. I am incredibly excited. :] I'll have to scan them in when I get them back. They're just eggs, but I can't believe I shot the film, developed it, and printed all on my own. I feel incredibly accomplished.
What else? Oh! Youtube. Zomg. My newest video has about 190 views. That is insane! That's over twice as much as anything else. And maybe I'm really shallow, but I'm really physched over the fact that there's people in Bahrain who've seen my video... btw... does anyone know where that is? I could NOT find it on the map. But still, way excited. So yeah. That's about all I've got for you this week.
Oh, and my punishment... I'll get working on it. I haven't had much time for videos/ video editing, or I would've had it up already. But I'll get on it. I still have to figure out a guilty pleasure too... hmm. I'm really not ashamed of what I listen to. So it might just end up being something I really like, unless I stumble across something I completely forgot I had on my ipod.
Anyway I have to go clean up for my show tonight, and eat and all that jazz. So I leave you with a final question; "If you could live in any piece of fiction [movies, books, whatever] what would it be and why?"
Ready? BREAK!

evil Moscow
Today I feel very very stressed out! I have to read a 23 page interview and right a review, summer then type up some questions. And it has NOTHING to do with the industrial revolution which is what we're supposed to be studying!
So this weekend was pretty uneventful, my friend Sean (girl) called me to invite me to go to a concert in Brooklyn with like 8 local bands and my crush was there and I didn't answer my phone so I didn't go =[
But then my best friend in Belgium called me and all my other friends were there so I got to talk to them on the phone for two hours then my other friend who moved to Virginia called me so I spent my whole weekend on the phone =]
Greek mythology...hmm well I love it but I can't see myself as one of the gods etc...I'm more of one of those people who'd suck up to them! I don't know why but it makes sense to me!
So today during my free I finished most of my HW like like in 30 minutes and I was looking at the books here (it's a pretty small library) and guess what I saw:
LOOKING FOR ALASKA! And since me and my friend Aless made that video in our old library putting notes in books, so I couldn't resist and I put a note in the book with the link for the vlogbrothers youtube page and the ning. So maybe I was able to convert them into Nerdfighters? I doubt it but it's nice to dream =]
So since I love all the Disney actors and stuff there's website that has all this gossip on them and stuff! it's called Oceanup.com and I found this HILARIOUS story=
http://oceanupped.wordpress.com/2008/09/22/jonas-brothers-fan-climbs-on-their-roof/#more-981
A girl WENT ON THE ROOF OF THE JONAS BROTHERS HOUSE. I mean there's obsessed and then there's those FREAKS! I mean I love them too but sneaking onto their ROOF! Come on, do you guys think it's too much? And would you ever do something like that to a celebrity? I mean I might like go to their house (NOT INSIDE but like at the gate) and music video shooting or w/e but climbing their ROOF?
Anyways now I need to go read about some stupid political person and write about the interveiw...yay me...not

even now, his heart still lurches when he sees a woman in a red trench coat
Today I feel fantastic ;DDD
Today is awesome because I had a nice day at work.
Last night I had a little breakdown after work...I dunno why exactly...I just feel like none of the managers appreciate how much and hard I work. But today was sooo much better, I got to work with my friend Kelly..we seriously just have so much fun lol...like 70% of the people at my work smoke, so they go on smoke breaks...together. So basically everyone left us and we were up there by ourselves...so we decided that next time we work we're going to get big cigars and go on "cigar breaks". We decided that they are PamandJim and we are Dwight. If that makes sense you must be excited for Thursday. :]
Let's move on to Greek Mythology. <3 I own a couple books on the subject, and my favorite goddesss would probably be Eirene or Athena. My favorite god would be Dionysus...I just think he's awesome...uhmmmm what else... My favorite hero is probably Hector, he was just like...noble and couragous and awesome.
I watched City of God and Persepolis this week, City of God was incredible...like super violent but in a deep way, like the director really focused on the causes and emotions and the people behind the violence. Persepolis was adorable and fantastic and it really showed like...the opposite side of what we think of the middle east as being...like it showed how it felt to be the ones living through all that war...
Also! I saw Burn After Reading, I loved it, I watched it by myself...so it was kind of weird...but I talk to everyone who has seen it/comes to see it and the more I talk about it the more I like it. lol.
I'm in the process of watching Paris Je T'aime right now, it is seriously amazing. It's all these little scenes of love around Paris, some of them are funny, some are sad, and some are just kind of interesting...I've basically already put it on my top ten favorite movies list. lol. And I want a french accent more than anything right now. :]
Soo what else...this week is full of club activities, because I'm trying to get prepped for college so I joined like seven clubs last week...but anywho lots of business...and I'm taking one of the girl at my work's shifts tomorrow...so I'm missing Gossip Girl and The Big Bang Theory..
Next weekend is Bamfcoming, which is like homecoming* only its a bunch of local bands playing and everyone gets dressed up...I've never been but I'm super excited to go. Beforehand I'm going to the mall to buy clothes for it then going to see Ghost Town with Kelly.
Sorry this post is kind of haphazard...must go write an existentialist essay now...plus I'm trying to read french subtitles and type at the say time.
Alright au revoir, bon soir, je t'adore!
*sorry...I realize that some of you might not know what this is? Basically it is a formal dance hosted by schools at the beginning of the school year. Usually it is preceded by a football game.
