Well, Ever Since You Told Me That You Love Me, I'm a Nut I'm a Nut.

Tiny Tim. Genius with a ukelele.

Anyway, not much has been going on lately. My week's generally been pretty good, I guess. I accidentally missed a rehearsal on Wednesday, but our director wasn't really upset with me or anything. I didn't even know I was supposed to be there that day, really. But I've been feeling kind of down and sluggish lately, and it's rather apparent, so she just said that it was no big and it was okay that I took a day to kind of rest up. Which isn't really what happened, but that works, I guess.
I've been trying all week to get a flu vaccine but I don't think the universe wants me to get one. I've gone to the fire department and CVS and Walgreens and they've all said that I have to be 18. CMS or whoever took my records from our primary care doctor without our knowing it, and the doc ran out anyway, so that was out. Also, I've gone down to the health department twice already and they had conveniently closed for flu shots about 10 prior to my arriving there both times. So I have to go back next Wednesday. It's so obnoxious. I'm the last person who needs to get the flu, especially now since I've got so much on my plate. But, enough of my rambling.

Uhh yeah. Not too much else has been happening other than my quest for the Holy Grail of a flu shot, so I guess I'll just go on to questions.

Weddings: Personally, I've only ever been to one wedding, in which I was flower girl. I think I was about 8 or something. Maybe younger. But it was cool. It was my aunt and uncle and they had it on the beach at nighttime. But that really the only experience I have with weddings. I don't believe I'd be a fan of church weddings, though. I know I don't want to get married in a church. I think outdoorsy would be more me. But yeah.

Selling books at John's events: Well, the one I went to was during the Paper Towns tour, and it was in a Barnes and Nobles, so yeah, they sold his books there. But the PT tour is over now and it's on to the Tour de Nerdfighting, so I'm not totally sure. I suppose they'd inevitably be there if the event was at a book store, but idk.

Favorite holiday and why??: It's a three-way tie. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I absolutely love Halloween. It's so much fun dressing up and getting to play around and have fun. I was a vampire this year (or vampiress? Not sure.) It was really cool though, I had the clip in fangs and everything. I didn't trick-or-treat this year, though. But I did go to a Halloween party at my friends house and played SNES and watched crazy gory horror sci-fi movies and eat spiral ham and bacon-wrapped scallops, because that's how you eat on H'ween at teh Holbrook residence lol. Thanksgiving is mostly for the food, honestly. None of our family besides my parents and sisters live here in Florida, so it's always just us, and sometimes I end up at at a friends house later. Either way, what ends up happening is that we always get enough food to feed half the city, so we end up having Thanksgiving twice a day for lunch and dinner for the next 2 weeks. Which is fine by me, because I'm thoroughly addicted to candied yams and marshmallows and canned cranberry sauce. Lastly but not least, Christmas. Usually what we do is go to Pittsburgh for the holidays for 2 weeks or so to visit my dad's side of the family, which is enormous. I seriously think they make up half the population of Pittsburgh. It's always so much fun going up there. Every day is a party, literally. We're a big party family. And of course there's the food which is reminicent of Thanksgiving, and it's always so nice being around so many people. Plus, my grandma is about a 5 minute drive from the Carnegie Museum. And I love the nature there, and the fact that it's cold, but not humid like Florida. Florida winter is always tough for me because of the humidity and it feels so much colder than it really is. Up north it's not humid and it's tolerable. Plus there's snow. Woowoo.

So, time to end my ranty blog.

Today I feel kind of bleh. Damn stomach aches.
And today is awesome because my dad took my sisters somewhere, so I have the house all to myself and I get to cuddle in bed with my kitty.

And, a question:
What does your ideal Thanksgiving meal consist of?
And what is your favorite holiday film?

I love this time of year.

"If you are happy then I am happy too"

Well aint that a cute quote. It was said by my friend :)

Sorry I haven't really commented on people's posts. I have read them all though.

Questions

Weddings
I haven't really been to many either. I don't mind them, but I always have this horrible hope that someone will shout "I OBJECT!" midway. It's awful, but it's something I always think about.

John/Hank events
Anyone want to pay for a plane ticket? ;D (I'm joking. No.)

Favorite Holiday
CHRISTMAS! Or Guy Fawkes night, but you don't celebrate that. FIREWORKS! And Christmas because of trees.. and presents.. and just cause everyone's always so happy!

And I saw High School Musical 3 last week. I haven't seen the other two, but it was definitely better than I expected. Cheesier but still better. I kept thinking "Don't burst into song, DO NOT burst into song,", but naturally they burst into a song. It is a musical after all.

Oh! And the fingerprint thing starts next week. *Squee.* We're all very excited as my school is pretty damn ancient.

We have so many tests next week :( Biology, Physics, Maths, Latin. Blah. I'll be fineee.
Oh yeah, we also had a seven minute run today. I surprisingly did better than average. It's just basically where you have to run round a netball court and count how many laps you can do.

And... yeah. Lots of fireworks have been going off recently. Erm, I don't really have anything to report back. I feel kind of bad that I haven't written any long entries recently, but I guess it's better to cut it short than let it drag on.

Hope you all have a good weekend and week :)

Oh. Dear god.

So...you know...fire alarms are a great invention and all.

But they're not so great at 8oclock in the damn morning, especially when you're sleeping over at your boyfriend's dorm and you're technically not allowed to be there until 10 so you have to climb out the window [thank god they live on the first floor] out into the 30 degree weather.

And don't even get me started on the stupidity of Berry College's dorm rules. Ugh.

So anyways, that's been my morning thus far. Actually, it wasn't all too terrible, since I've got an essay to write before my class at 12:30, and lord knows I'm the biggest procrastinator known to man. [Obviously.]

In other news, I'm crossing my fingers that rehearsal will be cancelled tomorrow so I can go see John and Hank in Alabama!! I'm pretty sure I'll be able to go, but its not a definite yet. I also don't have my copy of Katherines to take with me for John to sign...I lent it to a friend over a YEAR ago and she still hasn't read it, and I keep forgetting to go search her room to see if she even brought it back to school with her. Oh well. I'm sure signatures on Alaska, Paper Towns, and my Nerdfighter tshirt will suffice. :)

So, questions.

On Weddings - I haven't been to a large number of weddings, but I think it can go both ways - fun or excruciatingly boring. The ceremony is usually pretty standard, especially if its in a church, but receptions can be pretty fun. [coughcoughopenbarcough]

John/Hank events - Well, obviously, I haven't been yet. But I've been facebook-stalking all the pictures that are being put up, and it looks like most of them have displays of his books. And I mean...why WOULDN'T he sell his books there?

Favorite Holiday - Halloween and Christmas. Halloween I love for the costumes, I LOVE dressing up so much. Christmas is more about the atmosphere. And the food. GOD. Egg nog, anyone?

OH! I can't believe I didn't say how PSYCHED I AM THAT OBAMA IS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!!!! I mean, do we really have to wait until January? Can't we just kick Bush out now? Come on. Its not like anybody wants Bush to stick around, I bet most of the McCain supporters wouldn't even want that. Although, I don't know, I experienced some pretty out-of-control psychotic Republicans during this election. That's what happens when you live in Georgia. Sigh.

Okay, kids. I need some coffee before I die, and I should attempt to be productive. Have a fabulous day!

I made it!

It's still Wednesday!

Oh my god. Today was forever long.

Got up at 5:45, got ready for school, left at 7

School from 7:30-2:30

Rehearsal for advanced repertory theater from 3:00-5:00

Work from 6:00-11:00

It's about time to sleep. Phew.

So.

How bout that Obama, eh, eh? I'm so excited. Fer real. I hated Palin with a passion, and everyone knows McCain would've died. So yes. Obama. Love it.

Right now I'm reading a book called Spud. It takes place in 1990 in Africa. It was so weird because the main character was just talking about Africa having it's first black leader and he was wondering what it would be like, and I was like... wow... we're eighteen years behind. But the parallelism was interesting.

btw... TAI last week was AWESOME. :] I met William Beckett and Michael Guy Chislet. Gorgeous. Also Travis from We the kings. It was over all an awesome show.

Lovely gentlemen

Oh, one more thing. For my photography class I have to emulate a professional photographer and try to make three prints that are similar in style. The thing is... I can't find one that really works for me. So does anyone out there know of some awesome photographer. Like a practical one. I can't exactly fly across the world to take beautiful nature pics. But I'm open to suggestions. It would so help.

questions!

1. Do you enjoy weddings? Wedding receptions? Explain why or why not.
I've only been to two. Yes and no. I like the festivities. The dresses I could do without. Especially when I have to be really careful eating. Not that I'm a slob, but when I concentrate on being tidy I make the biggest messes.

2. If you have been to one of the events with John/Hank, did they sell the books there?

I haven't gone yet. But I'm going to on November 17th. So excited!

3. What's your favorite holiday? And WHY?!
oh jeeze. Christmas. It brings the family together. And brings my baby back :] The only downside- Outback is already playing Christmas music. Please shoot me in the ear.

OH MY!

I almost forgot to post today, and this is going to be short since I have to be up super early. I was so distracted by the election this evening, that just wrapped up. I don't know who you girls wanted but I'm happy with the results. =]

My week has been pretty boring. I'm still grounded, so the highlight of my weekend was playing scrabble and making the word 'exit' on a triple word score. Gotta love those x's. haha.

Sorry for the super short post, punish me. =]

fail

I'm sorry I forgot to post last monday =[ But my best friend was visiting all the way from Belgium so I just completely spaced out!
It really sucks that everyone had such bad weeks =[ But this past month has been amazing for me!
After the whole John Green paper towns meeting thing I also went to a youtube gathering where I hung out with Liane from fiveawesomegirls a lot, I met Whatthebuck, Davedays, Iamchrisc, Supadupaflygirl and Pop17 and that was pretty cool. Then I went to my first ever wizard rock concert were I saw Liane again. And I met Lauren! She was so awesome! I saw the Moaning Myrtles (well it was only Lauren), The Whomping Willows and Justin Flinch Fletchly. I'm not sure if you guys know her but Melisa Anelli was also there!
Then the moment i was waiting for for 7 years came...
I MET DANIEL RADCLIFFE!

So I saw Equus last thursday and ahhh it was so so amazing. The play itself is so good. Disturbing, thought provoking, funny, sad EVERYTHING! I loved it and Daniel was amazing. I got my poster signed by him and Richard Griffiths and I had a whole conversation with him which is under my favorite quotes on my facebook, I can't be bothered to type it out sorry. But since I barley did any homework since my friend was here yesterday I spent the whole day doing a History project on philosophers, a science project, an English essay, 50 math problems and some french exercises which just killed me.

So I think the only person who asked questions was Tyler?

1. Do you enjoy weddings? Wedding receptions? Explain why or why not.
I actually haven't been to many weddings. I don't know why, I guess a lot of my parents friends are already married. Or have lost hope! Well the last wedding I went to, I was nine and I guess I liked it. Free cake =]

2. If you have been to one of the events with John/Hank, did they sell the books there?

Well since the event is already over for Tyler, this is useless but ya the one i went to they did sell his books.
3. What's your favorite holiday? And WHY?!
Holiday or vacation? I don't really have a favorite holiday since I'm not religious or anything but I love summer break cause I finally have enough time to READ!

another epic fail on my part

blehh i do not have the video.
i mean i do. but i do not have the time to post it.
i am terrible sorry.
but my weekend has been insane.

halloween, then wedding, then school open house, and i have to write a three page paper in roughly two hours before i go to work until close.

oi. and thus is the story of my life as of late.
this week will be even worse/better.

monday: JOHNANDHANKGREENFINALLYFINALLYFINALLY
tuesday: working 5-close
wednesday: another three page paper to write
thursday: working 5-close
friday: we might get off school for a volleyball game?!

And this upcoming weekend happens to be my birthday [November 9th].
But I forgot to request off so hopefully my managers will be kind and not schedule me on Friday and Saturday and Sunday.

News:
1. My school's play was weird but good, my friend Nicolette who was one of the Alices [they had one for each act], was definately the best. And I am not just saying that because she's my friend...like the critics even said it.

2. I got an oil change on my car, my tires rotated [?], and a new cell phone. I got an env2 instead of a blackberry but it is definately awesome. I don't have time for pictures so google it?? lol sorry.

3. My Halloween was sort of lame. I got in a bit of a tiff with some friends but I jumped on a trampoline in a banana suit, so I was happy.

4. I GET TO SEE THE VLOG BROTHERS TOMORROW IM FREAKING OUT ahhhhghhh

Questions:
1. Do you enjoy weddings? Wedding receptions? Explain why or why not. [lol that's such a schoolbook ending]
2. If you have been to one of the events with John/Hank, did they sell the books there? Because I can't find AAoK anywhere and I neeeeeed to get it signed.
3. What's your favorite holiday? And WHY?!

Alright well I suppose that's all I'm sorry this is a lame post. I have to write a process analysis paper...eesh.

Song of the Day: Love Lockdown by Kanye West [it is amazinggggg]

Today I feel...stressed. X____x

Today is awesome because I got to eat chinese food. <3

My Internet Connection is Made of Pure Unadulterated Suck

Therefore, this post is being written on Sunday.
Sorry for infiltrating your day, Tyler :/

Anyway, I'll try to make this short since it's not really my day.

School's been going well. I'm passing all of my classes. We got report cards on Halloween and I had all As and Bs but apparently that's not good enough for my mom, so I have to make those Bs into As so I can be the prodigy my mom wants me to be I suppose. At least it will shut her up.
Besides that, Halloween was really great. I got my costume together last minute and it turned out really well, harray for Hot Topic.
Then I went to a party and we watched Dead Alive, which is the goriest film ever made according to my friend Kaz, so that was cool. It was actually pretty hilarious.

Ummmm.

Then yesterday Josie came over and we hung out and she slept over and we had fun watching Corpse Bride and The Nightmare Before Christmas. We wanted to watch Sweeny Todd, too, but I couldn't find it and it made me sad.

And now I'm just typin' and sittin', and my boyfriend's gonna come over later. YAY!

Alrighteh, I think that's all for today.
Sorry again!

Bye dears ^-^
