I think this is the earliest blog I've ever written. But it's because I'm having lunch with a friend and then going to H'ween things. Firstly, it was kind of sucky hearing people's weeks were so bad :( I hope next week is better. Oh, I forgot to explain lots of things last time. Mufti day is basically a fundraising event where you pay £2 to not wear school uniform. It's the best way to earn money cause everyone does it, haha. And it doesn't take much organisation, unlike a cakesale (where everyone forgets to actually bake cakes). And swipe cards and finger print thingies. They just basically take your finger print and convert it into binary. I don't actually know because I missed the meeting. But apparently like 200 schools are already using it, so it can't be that dangerous or anything. And I thought I might add a quick note on the American Politic thing. I read/watched this last night. I think it's strange that we [almost] always see the bad side of war. And also, the Obama Girl just really makes me not like Obama. (I'm still in the middle though, because that article seems pretty pro-McCain). It also made me laugh about how much America cares about their political system. I mean, here in England, we're just like giving the finger to any politician that changes anything.

And if you like lovely British Humour, I'm going to recommend QI, A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Mitchell and Webb. I think they're meant to be very Monty Python-esque (I've never seen [any of the] Monty Python[s?]). I don't know how you add videos to here, so you MUST watch those clips. They're funny, and Fry and Laurie are even H'ween themed! Oh, I don't know if you'll get this one, but there's a show in the UK called The Weakest Link, where Anne Robinson is like this devil-quiz-host and is really rude to all of the contestants. So that just basically parodies it.

Oh! And it snowed a couple of days ago! Sadly not in my town, but in the neighbouring town it snoweddddd. All we got is hail :(

And that's what I made for my converse by the way. Multi coloured shoe laces ;D It took me two whole freaking days!

I am currently sitting in my boyfriend's bed after a long rehearsal, watching TV and slowly making my way through a sleeve of club crackers.

Productivity - not my strongest suit.

This has been quite the slacker week for me. I've skipped more class than I care to admit, but at least I'm not stressed out. Last week was SUCH a hell week for me, I think my subconscious just decided I couldn't do anymore. It happens. Mental health week.

In other news, I FINALLY got Paper Towns on Monday! I'm a little over halfway through, and its FANTASTIC! Hopefully next Friday I'll get to go to Alabama to meet Hank and John. I'm not sure if I'll get to go or not, but I'm trying my hardest to make it work!

Sorry this is short, loves, but I've really got to do some work to make up for my procrastination this week. Have an AMAZING Halloween and a great weekend!

Hello girlies!

I don't have much time. I need to eat and such before going to see TAI. Eeek. So excited. Sisky is a beast. Often overshadowed by Bill Becket. Who is also amazingly gorgeous.

Okay. Enough of that.

This week:

I've worked like a dog.
I've slept in two classes.
I got a cold.
Had an asthma attack at work.
Walked in the rain.
Stabbed myself with a fork. [by accident of course.]
And got hit on by rather unattractive busers... hmm...

So. Work= sucks. Notsome. The music is still good. Could be better. But it's cool. The people however, are a little less than preferable. :[

Like Jeremy. Who thinks he's incredibly funny and hot when he's just a sarcastic arse who won't help you when you're having an asthma attack... apparently.

Another minus- no drinks. It's like stealing I guess. But after standing seven hours without a break or a drink... well... it's just not going to fly.

I'm pretty sure they break at least three child labor laws a day.

But other than that!

Life is fine. I've got this annoying cold, amplified by my asthma. Oi. It's better than it has been the rest of the week though...

Oh! And my super new awesome computer got infected... by my old computer. It's something called a Hydra. I guess those are worse then your typical worms. So I think we're crashing it? -_-; If I miss next week I am very sorry.

I'm also sorry I haven't commented. Even though I told them not to those bastards have put me on closing three nights this week and the other nights I come home, eat, pass out. So yup. My bad. I'll try to sneak some in in the morning or something.... yup.

Today was grrreat because I think I totally aced this U.S. History quiz I took today which I studied four hours for last night. I got a C in the class last quarter, so I'm trying really hard to bring it up. I'm not excited about my 3.6 GPA at all so gotta get that up. I'm not going to a great college or anything. I'm probably staying pretty close to home for various reasons, but I'd like to be safe. And I hate testing [ACT] and if I do badly on that, I want to have a nice GPA to tell the deans of admissions that I'm not an idiot.

Uhmm, well I'm still grounded [till Christmas!], so I'm not doing anything for Halloween. It's actually one of my least favorite holidays [ranks up there with Valentine's Day], because of memories I have on this day. One has to do with an ex and the other has to do with being ditched by one of my best friends. But oh well. I think my friend Paige is going to bring me some candy. :D I, of course, still like candy. haha.

Other than that, not much has been going on. Pretty bummed the Fall Out Boy cd isn't coming out next week as earlier planned. I love those boys. I could go on for a while about them [I did my 7 minute presentation freshman year about them], but I won't. haha. But they are the reason I go into music, my fondest moment [my first concert of theirs], and the reason I have the two passions that I do: music and writing. Their music is everything to me.

Well I'm actually going to go to start reading...PAPER TOWNS. :DD I got Tyler's copy the other day and I'm pumped.

epic weekend

of disappointment that is.



Seriously this weekend has been awful. Work sucked. I got yelled at by customers and fellow employees. I got ditched out on by my friend. I worked a total of 23 hours and slept only about 5.

I won't go into a bunch of gory details but I must say the one thing that pissed me off beyond belief was when my fellow employee messed up another employee's computer, got yelled at by a customer, then complained about it for an hour. She literally shoved the popcorn off the counter and said to me [which by the way I wasn't even around when all of this went down] "WHY DONT YOU DO YOUR EFFING JOB SO I DONT GET EFFING YELLED AT IDIOT"

uhmm yeah, that's the clean version.

I wanted to jump the counter and punch her in the face.
But my pacifist insides wouldn't allow it.




Soo that is my excuse for not uploading the lipsync vid. It is made but I honestly do not have the patience for that right now.





Uhmm I don't have much to say really. I'm just in such an awful mood. I am going to see my school's performance of Alice in Wonderland tonight so hopefully that will make me feel a bit better. I love the theater.


Also reading Lies My Teacher Told Me by Loewen, it's for a paper in US History but it's rather interesting. It's all about how textbooks and schools don't teach all of history, they just highlight the heroic and positive aspects.
