Today is awesome because [technically] yesterday was awesome.

"MORNING" (actually it's about 1pm my time)
Today I feel...happy.

So first the questions and suchh:
Clothing Era
The 1950's, basically I love dresses and I think the 50's were so classic. <3>Songs I Could Listen To a Million Times
All My Loving by the Beatles
Paper Planes by MIA
At the Bottom of Everything by Bright Eyes
Lola by the Kinks
Thunder Mountain by Bob Dylan
Raining in my Heart by Buddy Holly
Buddy Holly by Weezer
Catastrophe Waitress by Belle & Sebastian
I don't know, there are just a lot of songs that will never get old for me...pretty much anything by the Beatles or Buddy Holly I could listen to forever. :D
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor
This is difficult...it's a three way tie between Strawberry Cheesecake (cheesecake icecream with strawberry and graham cracker swirls), Chunky Monkey (banana icecream with chocolate chunks and walnuts), and Creme Brule (creme brule flavored icecream with a carmelized sugar swirl). Basically I have a large obsession with Ben and Jerry's icecream.
Alright now on to you all.... :D
Bengi-hope everything went well with all of your school and apartment things :]
Melissa-well hmm...I basically hung out with you yesterday so I don't have much to say lol
Lysky-I'm jealous of your schedule, ours is kind of like it but the classes switch around so it's rather confusing, also on the boy front, I can't empathize but I can sympathize, being hit on just isn't really all that fun.
Chelsea-Back to school...fun? lol I read your other blog about the school rules and such...they sound pretty ridiculous...hopefully you have a good year though, how many years do you have left there? [PS...you totally inspired me and I spent a good ten minutes looking over the jazz records in the used music store here...sadly I didn't have enough money to buy anything :/]
Karen-And I thought our school system was confusing...eesh. But I hope everything goes well with being a new kid, I've been a new kid multiple times and while it's kind of tough at first, I'm sure if you just be yourself [oh wow that sounds sappy] you'll be fine, you're made of awesome so how could they not love you?!
Melissa-Disco themed party?! uhmm jealous much... [also glad to hear everything went okay after the storm]
About My Week
This was my first week of school, and so far I'm actually quite content. I have French 3, Algebra 2, Chemistry, US History, Financial Management, American Lit/Comp, and Morality. I have a friends in all my classes and lunches and I don't hate any of my teachers yet lol. However we did have a "class meeting" in which the school administration basically threatened and yelled at us for things we haven't done yet, does anyone else have this? It felt like "Welcome back to school, now let us reprimand and warn and scare you", they kept talking about the law and how they know about everything we do and there's this new program that if you get two or more D's [or F's] two quarters in a row you can be expelled...I don't think that'll be a problem for me...but geez.
Concerning the weekend, I spent Friday cleaning my room and being mopey. Saturday I went downtown with Melissa and our friend Alexa and did some shopping, eating, and sharing of cupcakes. I bought a shirt, a hat, a ring, and some sunglasses. :D
Also if you have a Noodles & Company near you, you should go there now, we had lunch there and it was delicious.
After all that awesome-ness I went to work...with my workcrush < 3
I have to work again today from 5pm to close, but besides that I'm probably going to spend my day cleaning my room some more, listening to Ben Lee, and going to the library.
OH! IMPORTANT! I forget who recommended it [I think it was Bengi?] but I read Something to Blog About, and I loved it. It was really really fantastic. I also recently finished reading Naked by David Sedaris (whom I adore, I highly recommend any of his books), and I just started on The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again) by Andy Warhol. I have a supreme obsession with Warhol as a person and an artist...I don't know why exactly I just think he's fantastic. I also watched An American in Paris (Chelsea suggested this one I believe), and I loved it as well! I love musical-ish movies so so so much, so I'm probably going to see what else the library has today.
The song of the day is Catch my Disease by Ben Lee, I just love it (it plays on Scrubs from time to time).
The question of the day is what is your favorite sad movie?
Cloudbusting:
this is a bit err abstract...
[PS...is anyone in on the secret project?!...I sort of am except I don't have the erhm needed materials at the moment so I'm going to have to complete it whenever I get my paycheck, but I figure even if I do it late it'll still like...help the project]

Glad school's going well for you! The grade thing is mean. How hard is it to get a D though?
GO SUNNIES
I didn't know Andy Warhol wrote books. I learnt something new today.
And I totally see your cloud-image.
I did suggest An American in Paris. Isn't it brilliant?!? I heard Cyd Charisse just died in like, July. I was a little upset. She's great.
Your cloudbusting made me smile.
